Solution Architecture
We run solution architecture assessments and stand up Solution-Wide Architecture Teams (SWATs) that operate alongside your internal IT or other SIs, providing independent architectural oversight across finance, projects, supply chain, and security, designed for compliance, scale, and the complexity of regulated industries.
What we deliver
- Solution architecture assessments
- Solution-Wide Architecture Teams (SWATs) complementary to internal IT or other SIs
- Enterprise architecture blueprints
- Integration architecture (BTP, MuleSoft, custom)
- Data architecture, security, and access design
- Audit-ready documentation

Solution Architecture at RevTech is built around the SWAT, the Solution-Wide Architecture Team. A Lead Solution Architect owns the overall design, supported by specialist architects in Finance and Controlling, Logistics and Supply Chain, Technology and Integration, and Data. This is how we deliver independent architectural oversight on programs where execution sits with internal IT or another systems integrator.
The SWAT model exists because the single most expensive failure pattern in enterprise SAP is siloed design. Finance designs a cost allocation scheme that conflicts with Projects' WBS structure. Procurement configures workflows that ignore the security model. Data migration runs on assumptions nobody validates until cutover weekend. A SWAT prevents these conflicts by embedding architects across workstreams and requiring cross-workstream alignment before any design decision is locked.
Our architects work across the four pillars of solution architecture: People and Personas, Process, Platform and Technology, and Data. That framing forces every decision to be tested from four perspectives: who uses this, how does the process flow, what systems support it, and what data underpins it. Decisions that look clean in one pillar often fail a test in another, and the SWAT is how those conflicts get surfaced and resolved.
People & Personas
01Every feature we design maps to real roles, real workflows, and real pain points. Program managers, cost accountants, procurement leads, and timekeepers each have different needs, and the solution has to serve all of them.
Process
02We design around well-architected business processes, with automation at every step where it eliminates duplicated work. Approvals move faster. Compliance documentation is produced as a byproduct of execution, not as a parallel reporting exercise.
Platform & Technology
03Connected systems that work together, not a collection of point solutions. Integration topology, security architecture, and extensibility are decided deliberately, with the long tail of operational cost in view.
Data
04Everything starts with a well-architected data model. Master data governance, migration strategy, and analytical data layer design are treated as first-class workstreams, not afterthoughts.
Outcomes you can measure
A RevTech architecture engagement produces an enterprise architecture blueprint, a prioritized remediation plan tied to specific workstreams, a risk register with owners and dates, and audit-ready documentation that traces business requirements through configuration decisions. Most engagements close the first formal review cycle in 8 to 12 weeks.
For clients on active implementations, the measurable outcome is reduction in late-stage design rework, faster phase-gate passage, and a demonstrable improvement in audit readiness when the implementation reaches go-live. Independent architectural oversight is the lowest-cost insurance an enterprise SAP program can carry.
Where this fits in your SAP roadmap
Solution Architecture applies when you need independent architectural review on a program you are not staffing end-to-end with RevTech. That includes organizations running internal IT delivery, organizations working with another systems integrator, and organizations with a SWAT mandate from their audit committee or board.
If you need full implementation delivery, Solution Implementation is the right engagement. If you are pre-decision and need to define the target architecture before selecting an SI, start with Solution Strategy. In all cases, the same four-pillar discipline applies to how we think about the solution.
